How to Clean Junk from PC | Clean your pc

People often forget that the Windows operating system has a junk folder that collects all
unnecessary files and folders. But this is a pain because if you want to get rid of unnecessary
files, you have to open up every folder manually. The Windows operating system has a junk
folder that collects all the files and folders that are no longer necessary. However, it can be a
pain to clean these folders constantly.
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
We just talked about it in the paragraph dedicated to AdwCleaner. If you don’t have an antivirus
installed on your PC, you can trust Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. This reputable software allows
you to hunt down threats no matter where they are placed (in applications, of course, in RAM,
registry, system files, etc.).
The complete analysis of the PC, made from a database of signatures, is high-speed and does
not miss anything. The software also has a heuristic analysis engine, which thoroughly detects
possible threats. Fast and efficient, Malwarebytes is a must-have for maintaining your PC.
TreeSize Free
First of all, you can easily see your hard drive or SSD architecture to identify the directories or
files that take up the most space. For example, you can use software like MeinPlatz, which is
free and relatively easy to use. But there is something more user-friendly with the unbeatable
TreeSize Free.
The software starts by listing all the data present on your C: drive and classifies them from the
largest to the smallest. You then have the option of modifying, moving, viewing, or deleting
directories or folders using the right mouse click (the contextual menu of TreeSize is identical to
that of Windows Explorer).
Duplicate Cleaner
As discussed later, to erase files that appear in duplicate or triplicate on your hard drive, you
can use CCleaner. But there is more effective in the person of Duplicate Cleaner. This tool lets
you search for all the duplicates present on your PC or those stored on a network disk (a NAS).
It also allows you to protect Windows system files to avoid manipulation errors or to display
thumbnails of photos found in duplicates.
Finally, you can move duplicates to another hard drive rather than deleting them altogether.
Therefore, you can keep a backup of found duplicates.
The application is quite simple: to perform an initial search for duplicates, click on Locations,
select one or more hard drives, and then press the Start analysis button. Then select the files
you can delete (the software usually does this for you by highlighting certain items) and click the
Delete Selected button.
Wise Registry Cleaner
As you have seen previously, you can clean the registry using a CCleaner tool. But there is a
way to go even further in this cleaning by using Wise Registry Cleaner. Install and launch the
app, then start by clicking the Scan button. The software then searches for invalid or obsolete
keys. The operation is more extended than under CCleaner but much more efficient. Once Wise
Registry Cleaner has listed the problems, all you have to do is press the Clean button.
The application also includes a registry defragmenter. Even though this operation hardly brings
significant changes in the system, it is recommended to perform it from time to time (once every
2-3 months). Go to the Defragmentation tab and click on Analyze there too. The screen goes
black and white for a few seconds, after which you have to click on Defragment to remove the
fragmentation from the registry
